Dr. Rachel Pope is an obstetrician/gynecologist, who specializes in childbirth injuries. She has spent most of her time as a gynecological surgeon repairing obstetric fistulas in sub-Saharan Africa, but has recently relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, where she will be providing a variety of obstetric and gynecological care at an academic hospital. She is currently pregnant herself and therefore has an interesting perspective on the latest research coming out on the COVID-19 pandemic.
