Shabbat Supper Club is an intimate membership-based community gathering that Waking Giants hosts monthly with a goal to bring our Jewish (and non-Jewish ally) community members together for connection, creativity, and celebration. With the continued increase of antisemitism in the US, especially in the South, we feel that it is increasingly important for Jews to share our Jewish traditions in public with purpose. There are both virtual and in-person offerings in Austin.
Shabbat Supper Club is a pot-luck event where guests are invited to make a monthly contribution that goes towards BOTH a mutual aid action and ensures that the costs associated with organizing and hosting monthly gatherings are collectively covered.
