Barakah Sahaiel, Founder of The Doula Scientist is a Head Personal Chef and Full spectrum Doula, she Specializes in vegan and vegetarian meal planning for busy working Individuals and families, pre- natal and Post Partum Doula services, FAM/feminine educator, and spontaneous and elective abortion services. All services are developed with a strong emphasis on food since it is Barakah's belief that all discourse in the body as well as necessities to harmonize the body or prepare it for families begins with diet. She develops an array of delicious meals that range from full course meals to hors d'oeuvres in presentation and vegan ethnic dishes to delicious and simple fully raw vegan cuisine in taste.

The Doula Scientist's personal chef services integrates whole health education with clients by first having a health history Consultation, and then moving forward by acknowledging health concerns and goals through meal planning and weekly meal preparations within the clients home. The goal of the personal chef services is to always teach creative and simple meals to deepen the healing process and most importantly responsibility for the alignment of one’s own body.

In addition to individual personal chef services for individuals and families; The Doula Scientist also offers conscious catering for groups of 20 - 100 people. She recognizes the importance of developing empathy for the goal of the group she is catering, by having an understanding of the predominant taste that the group has already been exposed to while still integrating flavors that are still inventive and new. Using this formula as a "Taste Artist" she is able to provide out of the box flavors that are both unforgettable, interesting, delicious and most importantly, Healing.

These same rules apply with Doula services; with meal planning and womb health being the center of all post partum, and pre natal health plans. In each realm of doula services you will find an intrinsic mix of herbalism, meal prep, and art integrated in therapies and just simply giving you and your family the most laid back experience so that mum can focus on nurturing her body enough to transition life and guiding all involved partners in supporting that process. All birth plans and elective or spontaneous abortion plans are designed for emotional stimulation and processing pain for healing.

Barakah is based in Austin, Texas and offers virtual services to clients all over the world. The founder was raised by herbalists and midwives before it had a title, and has an undying service to her community and to families to maintain true Holistic Health while bringing people together for a common health goal.
